Mission Statement

To provide a leadership and mentoring role to the lives of underserved youth by offering free access to golf facilities and creating free programs that instill self-esteem, confidence, leadership, and character.

The Need

It is a known fact that golf is a "game of a lifetime" and that golf has made tremendous strides in reaching out to the youth throughout the United States due in part to the success of Tiger Woods. However, golf, in most inner-cities and in high percentage of minority populated areas in any city throughout America, the opportunity is not always available to our inner city youth. More challenging is the task of completing their education due to the pressures of their environment and their peers.

Why Golf?

Golf, unlike other sports, does not require unusual size, speed, or strength to participate and excel. Golf does, however, demand a higher standard of behavior, personal discipline, focus, concentration, honesty, and tenacity. It is Pin Pals goal to develop and instill these skills.
